![]() Have tried various accoutns but all to no avail. I am currently logged on as the Exchange enterprise administrator and Enterprise admin. Needless to say I have tried the above but I cannot log onto the local machine as the server is a PDC and does not use local accounts. Exchange System Manager will exit when you click OK. ![]() To grant ths privilage, log onto the local computer using an account that is a member of the Administrator's group, and grant this privilage to the user account in Local Security Settings. All loal administrator accounts hae this privilage. Log on using another account that has this privilage, or grant the privilage to the current user account. When I open the system manager I get the following error:Įxchange System Manger could not initialize MAPI because the current user account does not have the SE_CREATE_GLOBAL_NAME privilage on this computer. I then installed SP1, again without a problem except for the fact that I can now no longer open the System Manager! I have treid creating a new MMC ec and that has not made a difference, I have also tried re-boots, all to no avail. The upgrade itself went well with no problems, and ran for 2 weeks without a problem. The current setup is Win2k Advanced Server, SP4 with all hotfixes etc. I have just upgraded an Exchange 2000 server to Exchange 2k3 in anticipation of moving the mailboxes to a brand new box running Win2k3 and Exchange 2k3.
